
Coach Damon Gowan
C-Team Head Coach
Coach Gowan, a proud 1996 graduate of North Hall High School, boasts a distinguished
baseball career. He played four years of varsity baseball with the Trojans, two years
with the Gainesville Travelers, two years with American Legion Post 7, and continued
his passion for the sport in various men’s league programs. His commitment to the
game extends beyond playing, as he has actively contributed to multiple travel baseball
organizations throughout North Georgia.
His high school coaching career began in 2012 at Chestatee High School, where he
took on a leadership role with the Chestatee Middle School Softball program while also
assisting both JV and Varsity teams. He later became the Head JV Coach before
advancing to Assistant Varsity Coach, helping guide the team through multiple deep
playoff runs. In 2018, Coach Gowan returned to his alma mater, initially assisting with
the North Hall Middle School Softball team before stepping into the role of Head Coach,
leading the team to a Hall County Championship in 2023. He also served as Head
Coach of the North Hall Middle School Baseball team from 2019 to 2023.
After 25 years of dedicated service, Coach Gowan retired from Hall County Fire
Services in 2023. In addition, he has been a longstanding member of the Motorsports
Safety Team at Road Atlanta. Now, he brings his wealth of experience and leadership to
the classroom as a Healthcare Science teacher at North Hall Middle School.
Coach Gowan is married to his high school sweetheart, Susan, and together they have
two children, Wyatt and Emaline.
