Coach Preston Lowther


Coach Lowther graduated from North Forsyth High School in 2006, where he lettered in Baseball

all 4 years under Head Coach Jim Cahill. While in high school, Coach Lowther played summer ball with Savannah Chain where he was teammates with former MLB players such as Buster Posey, Josh Reddick, and Brandon Cumpton. After High School, Coach Lowther went on to pitch collegiately at Darton College (NJCAA) in Albany, GA. While there, Coach Lowther was nationally ranked in Strikeouts per 9 innings (1.9), as well as ERA. Opponents were hitting .145 during his time at Darton College. After two seasons with the Cavaliers, Coach Lowther transferred to the University of West Georgia where he finished out the remainder of his baseball career.


Once his playing career was complete, Coach Lowther went on to become the Pitching Coach for

2 seasons at North Forsyth High School. After his stint at North Forsyth, Coach Lowther came to North Hall for the 2017 season to join Trevor Flow and Wesley Crow, where they went on to win the 2017 AAA Baseball State Championship. Coach Lowther returns for his 6 th season with the Trojans Baseball team.

Coach Lowther and his family are members of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga.


He currently teaches Math at North Hall High School and is also a member of the North Hall Softball

Coaching staff.
