Coach Trey Pinson
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Pinson graduated from North Hall in 2009. He played 4 years, 2006-2009, in the Trojans baseball program and 3 in the football program. He was awarded the Dirt Bag, Spark Plug and Jody Davis award. He played 2 years of collegiate baseball at Truett-McConell and Emmanuel College. Coach Pinson has coached 12 years in the program at North Hall from 2014-2016 as the JV head coach and assistant on varsity. Coach Pinson took 2 years away for personal reason and returned to help again in 2018.
Coach Pinson’s motivation is pouring in the young men and to help shape them to become husbands, fathers and leaders of society. He says that it is a special feeling every day to show up to the field and give back to the program where he spent so much time.
"Winning is fun, but the greatest reward is receiving texts from former players years later, thanking me for being a leader and role model in their lives. There is no better feeling or greater motivation."
He is married to Katie Pinson, also a graduate of North Hall and they have two children, Beau (5) and a little girl, Annie Lynn (3). He and his family are members of Lakewood Baptist Church.
